Flow Charting brings together a group of artists, mostly painters, who indulge their love of the materiality of paint and exploit the natural tendencies of the medium within a loose reference to landscape, with figurative elements included. The emphasis for these participating artists is upon manipulation coupled with the allowance of paint to act as paint – sharply worked areas compete with poured and flowing passages. These artist’s imaginations are in full swing here, with surreal juxtapositions of imagery.
